Salary: £39,000 per annum
Location: RIBA North, Liverpool Waterfront with some homeworking
Hours: 35 hours per week. Job Share/Part-Time considered Fixed-Term to December 2023
We are seeking a UK qualified architect with detailed experience of architectural education and practice to join our professional education team in Liverpool to significantly contribute to the delivery of the UK and International Part 3 Courses.
You will liaise with office supervisors and candidates to discuss practical experience and other related issues to support students in their preparation towards the RIBA Part 3 examination. You will have responsibility for acting as a Professional Studies Advisor to a group of students on the Part 3 course and manage external relationships with consultant PSAs, lecturers and examiners.
The course has ARB Prescription and RIBA Validation status and, working closely with the Professional Education Programmes Director and Part 3 Course Leader, you will support the delivery of Part 3 course and examination in line with QA procedures to ensure a quality course and examination is delivered annually. The role requires an extensive knowledge of RIBA/ARB Part 3 Criteria, current and future developments in architectural education and practice, eligibility for entry on to the courses, ARB registration and RIBA membership.
