Architect

McDonald Architects are looking for a talented and motivated architect with at least two years post part 3 experience. We are a low key design practice that is technically very strong, we have a prestigious client base and a growing portfolio of high-quality projects, the majority of which get built. We are looking for a candidate with good design, detailing and technical skills to whom we can offer the opportunity to develop professionally through a variety of project types and scale, both as part of a team and individually.

Requirements:

• A minimum of two years post part 3 experience
• Positive and proactive approach
• Strong design and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
• Excellent organisation, communication and presentation skills
• Knowledge of UK building regulations and the planning process
• Working knowledge and experience of AutoCad is essential, experience in using Sketchup and Revit advantageous
