Architect/ Architectural Designer

Fantastic opportunity for an Architectural Designer to join a fantastic Berkshire based practice.

This role will allow you to develop your technical skills as an inspirational designer; make a difference to the built and natural environment of Southcentral England.

Join a young, buoyant and growing Berkshire based practice, focused on design flare, customer service and sustainable building methods for residential newbuild and luxury extension projects. Perform a principal role in a small team, where hard work and dedication will be rewarded. Having just moved into larger offices, this team has big plans for the future including offering this exciting new role and and intent on bringing eco-sustainable design to the fore.

We are a friendly practice looking for a creative designer and problem solver, with big-picture ideas as well as an attention to technical detail. The successful applicant will need excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills, have autonomous self-drive, as well as having good solid experience of managing planning and building regulations applications. Successful applicants will be expected to work on a large number of diverse projects concurrently, be proficient in AutoCad and have a good level of practical experience in Residential design and construction. Please note Architectural Technicians and experienced Architectural Assistants that have also worked a more all round role over the years, will also be considered.
