Aura Architecture is looking for a qualified Part III Technical Architect or Architectural Technician/Technologist (Residential experience with 5 years+ PQE), to join its team in London.

Experienced Part III Technical Architect or Architectural Technician/Technologist  with Residential experience, wanting to move into a technical team leader role

Have a real impact on how an ambitious and dynamic design company operates.  We are looking for a talented Technical Part III Architect or Architectural Technician/Technologist to help create fantastic homes in London and the Home Counties.

The chosen individual must have a technical design background and be able to take projects from initial consultation through to site monitoring projects to completion.  The main focus of the role will be to own RIBA stages 3 and 4 and create robust detailed design and tender packages.

This is also a fantastic opportunity to develop into a senior level position within the business and oversee junior staff.

About you

Key Skills Requirement:

  • RIBA Part 3 qualified or CIAT qualified with 5-plus years' PQE
  • Excellent residential experience is a must
  • Experience of working with private homeowner clients and developments up to 30 units
  • Demonstrable experience of taking projects from all RIBA stages
  • Strong technical, graphic and 3D modelling skills, full proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop and SketchUp skills are essential.  REVIT skills are beneficial however we are currently undergoing REVIT training for all staff.
  • Experience of running design and technical reviews
  • Excellent understanding of current UK planning and building regulations
  • Strong client-facing/client acquisition skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to plan and strong organisational skills

  • Demonstrable strong technical design ability
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects
  • The ability to communicate effectively with Clients, Consultants, Trades etc
