MRTPI Chartered Town Planner
An exciting opportunity has presented itself for a talented and ambitions Town Planner (MRTPI) to join one of the biggest Planning Consultancies in the UK!
The Company
My client is the global leading commercial, residential & rural real estate service providers. The London office is comprised of nearly 300 Planning specialists covering ever land use sector and geographical area in the UK, albeit with a bias to inner and outer London and the South-East.
The teams reach is diverse with a strong pipeline of projects for a wide variety of clients and works closely with colleagues in Development, Commercial Investment, New Homes, Auctions, Energy & Sustainability and Property Management teams across a large and modern multi-disciplinary office.
A wide range of other types of client work is also undertaken, e.g. spanning private clients, landed charities and estates, developers and investors (both small and large) and businesses in varied sectors such as arts and culture, hotels and leisure, and restaurants.
The Role
Typically, your role will involve managing your own workload, assisting the senior team members, undertaking planning research and enquiries, drafting and finessing reports and planning submissions (site assessments, policy notes, applications, appeals, development plan representations and so on).
Candidate Requirements
- RTPI Accredited degree in Planning or a relevant field if study.
- MRTPI and / or MRICS chartership.
- Demonstratable previous experience in a similar role.
- Excellent language and communication skills
- Assisting with the management of the team's caseload and its business development activities.
