Allan Joyce Architects is a design-led Architectural studio in the heart of Nottingham’s Creative Quarter. With a diverse range of award-winning projects, we are looking to strengthen our team of talented young architects. 

We have an increased workload of new and exciting projects, and are offering a great opportunity for an Architect to join us working across both the public and private sector.

AJA are looking for a self-motivated Architect who has some experience in running a range of traditional contracts from Concept through to Completion. The right candidate will have a passion for creative, elegant design solutions and a well-developed technical understanding of a wide variety of construction types. 

The ability to liaise directly with clients and act as lead design consultant is an essential skill for the role. We use Vectorworks, Sketchup, Twinmotion and NBS, so a working knowledge of these would be ideal but is not essential as we can provide training.

The role is based in our studio in Nottingham, although due to Covid-19 at present we are operating a blended home and office working arrangement.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Experience: Minimum 1 year post part-III qualification

Salary: £25-35K depending on experience
