Part II Architectural Assistant
There’s nothing better than Christmas in London.
Lights up and down Regent Street, mulled wine along Southbank, ice-skating at Somerset House.
Being bundled up in your warm coat, hands wrapped around a hot drink, browsing through the stalls at Borough Market, lit up and all decked out with Christmas finery.
Now imagine that you’re combining that with a brand-new role that you love, at an independent Architecture firm nestled in London Bridge.
You’re a Part II or recently qualified Part III Architect, and you had got sick of being overlooked, micromanaged, and stuck in a rut.
So, you thought screw it, and went out on a limb.
You applied for a job that would let you manage your own time, that would give you autonomy and trust to just get on with things, and escape the monotony of samey projects.
Suddenly you’re getting to work on a range of Commercial projects, anything from data centres and warehouses to workspaces and retail parks.
The team handles the whole shebang, from conception through to completion, so you’re getting exposure to the whole process.
This is so much better than what you were doing before.
There’s an incredible pipeline of work in place already, and the team is getting busier by the day, so you’re perfectly placed to take advantage of this buzzing market.
Particularly with an incredibly supportive team behind you. They’re not breathing down your neck, but they’re always there to give you guidance.
They’re laidback, friendly and sociable, so drinks after work is very much on the cards.
Plus, it’s an open, collaborative atmosphere, and anyone happily lends you a hand or bounces ideas with you.
And now you’re getting to go into a job that you love, right smack in Central London, and after popping out for after-work drinks, you’re enjoying a wander around Borough Market.
So, this is the time you apply for that new role.
This is the time you put that Commercial or Industrial experience to use, and throw your hat in the ring just in time for Christmas.
