Job (Function)
Architectural Assistant, Part 1, Part 2
Contract Type
Permanent
Hours
Part Time

We are a small but busy family run Architectural Practice based in South Oxfordshire and are looking to add an Architectural Assistant to our team. Our portfolio is varied but the majority of our work is carrying out residential extensions and alterations.

The candidate will be primarily responsible for carrying out drawing up surveys and making updates to the design drawings, along with administration such as submitting Planning Applications and updating our project tracking database, but as we are a small team they should expect to be involved in all day-to-day activities within the company.

The successful candidate will:

Have a strong working knowledge and be an efficient user of AutoCAD 2D, with knowledge of SketchUp and rendering plugins an advantage.

Have some experience of working in a practice on residential projects is preferred.

Being able to work independently as well as collaboratively with impeccable time management will be essential to the role.

Be enthusiastic and be ready to get stuck into whatever task is set.

Having access to own car is essential.

The role will be based at our offices near Chinnor, South Oxfordshire although some remote working may be possible.

We offer a friendly and nurturing working environment; the successful candidate will be working closely with the lead Architect so will have an excellent opportunity to learn.

We offer a competitive salary and flexible working hours.

Salary Circa £22k -£25K per annum (pro rata).

Working hours: Part Time (at least 16 hours per week)/permanent. Although it will start as a part-time role, there may be the option for the role to grow into a full-time position.

Sorry, but no candidates who require sponsorship to work in the UK
