An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Town Planner to join an established firm of Chartered Planners, Surveyors and Property Consultants in the South-West!

My clients busy Development, Land and Planning department are looking to recruit an ambitious and dynamic Graduate Town Planner to work along side a dedicated and vibrant team of Planning Consultants and Architectural professionals based in the Somerset office.

Main responsibilities

  • Manage individual workload and cases.
  • Provide initial Planning Feasibility Advice, carry out detailed research and local plan work including representations.
  • Be responsible for the preparation and submission of planning applications to include planning statements and all associate documentation.
  • Create and submit refusal appeals.
  • Assist Senior members of the team in a range of Planning services.

Candidate Requirements

  • RTPI accredited Degree in Town Planning or related field of study.
  • Understanding of residential, commercial, and agricultural planning.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to use own initiative.
