A fantastic opportunity has presented itself for a talented and ambitious Town Planner to join one of the UK's leading Strategic Land Promotors based in the North-West!

The dynamic team are highly experience in identifying and promoting land and development opportunities and has a proven tract record of gaining planning permission on land across all property sectors. The team are renowned experts in agricultural land development and Greenfield property development!

The dynamic Planning team also work across Residential Property that includes smaller developments of just a few homes to large developments for associated highway infrastructure, schools, shopping, and employment. The team create unique spaces for industrial, office, retail and leisure uses, and also work on small to large scale projects across Commercial and mixed-use Developments.

The team are looking to recruit Planners with specific experience in strategic/forward land, local plan representation and promotional work. The key elements of the role will be identifying LPA's targets for housing and employment, housing requirements, and 5-year supply/delivery. The role focus will be on strategic Planning with policy and local plans orientated toward identifying the larger scale strategic land opportunities across authorities in the UK, including greenfield edge of settlement sites of 20 acres and above. The team's acquisition and delivery expectations are the identification of sites that fall into the 2-5 year horizon, 5-10 year, and 10-15 year delivery of Planning approval.

Candidate Requirements

  • RTPI accredited Degree in Town Planning or related field of study.
  • MRTPI Chartership or working towards APC.
  • Previous experience in Consultancy or Private sector beneficial, however Public sector experience considered.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Full clean driving licence.
