Salary: £28,000-£38,000 (Dependant on experience)

Penguin Recruitment are delighted to be working with a well - established Architectural Practice who are seeking to appoint an experienced Architectural Technician. Due to a high number of projects, my clients are looking for potential candidates who would be available to start ASAP.

The practice focuses its work in the Residential sector, so exposure to projects within the housing sector is essential.

To be successful in this role, the candidate should demonstrate an exceptional ability to design high quality drawings with a wealth of experience behind them.

Responsibilities for this Senior Architectural Technician role:

• Working in unison with a line manager to assist in the delivery of technical projects
• Creating strong relationships with external clients
• Attending project / client meetings and supporting with site inspections and surveys
• To have a good knowledge and understanding of legislation to produce outputs
• Producing designs to a high standard whilst applying sound technical knowledge
• To assist in overseeing drawing productions
• To continuously review CAD design work collectively with other members of the team
• To always manage personal professional development, whilst always seeking to improve own discipline, knowledge, and awareness.

Experience needed for this Senior Architectural Technician role:

• A wealth of knowledge regarding Planning and Building Regulation drawings
• Experience operating with architectural design projects
• Exposure to the housing sector
• To be proficient with the use of AutoCAD
