Architectural Assistant Part 2

Due to sustained growth and a strong project pipeline we are seeking an Architectural Assistant (Part 2 qualified) to join our thriving award winning practice. Your work ethic and commitment to client relations will reflect this. The ideal candidate will oversee the entire construction project life cycle. You will manage personnel involved at different stages of the project and showcase strong design and/or technical abilities.

You will have

A minimum of 2/3 years’ extensive post qualification experience including leading projects
Demonstrable software skills in particular proficiency in the use of Revit, NBS Chorus and EnScape
The ability to prepare, develop and edit, under the guidance of the project leader or nominated architect, drawings, models, images and other documents relating to the design to meet the specifications of the clients.
Develop where required, representations of design options for further discussion by the design team
Support and help the architects or project leader with their work in finding the best solutions for complex technical problems and for complex challenges coming from the environment where the project takes place.
Assist the architect or project leader with a large spectrum of activities including general administrative duties.
Record evidence of your professional experience in accordance with the requirements of the RIBA (or equivalent as applicable)
A passion for excellence, and a desire to embrace new and innovative thinking
Good motivation, a collaborative team approach, efficiently managing your time, deadlines, and workload.
Outstanding communication skills and demonstrable presentation skills
Experience and knowledge of sustainable development best practice will be considered advantageous
Experience of working as an Architectural Assistant in the UK is essential, for building regulations, planning knowledge etc.
Experience of all RIBA Plan of Work stages from inception to traditional contract administration
Experience and understanding of construction detailing, UK statutory building regulations and planning policy
Confident communication skills and an ability to build strong working relationships within our team and with our valuable clients and fellow consultants
