Building Safety Project Manager
This role will be to create cladding analysis reports for our existing housing blocks and manage the investigation process in order to support the creation of a Safety Case and external wall assessment as required by the new regulations coming into force in 2021. You will also manage the handover of information for new build blocks as they progress through the Gateway process from our Development Team to the Building Safety Team to ensure it is complete and accurate. This requires a surveyor/architect who has experience of handover documentation in line with Regulation 38 of the building regs. Experience of BIM level 2, ISO19650 and CoBie standards is an advantage. You must be able to understand as built drawings and have knowledge of Approved Document Part B, BS9991 and the recent changes to Fire Safety guidance for cladding following the Grenfell Tower fire. The role will also require working on your own initiative and a fair degree of autonomy, so self-discipline is a must.
