Salary: £15,052 - £17,000 pro rata (£25,088 - £28,300 full time equivalent) depending on experience

Location: 76 Portland Place, London

Hours: Part time, 21 hours per week, fixed term contract to 24 December 2021

Do you love events and architecture? Do you have a positive ‘can do’ attitude? The RIBA is looking for a highly organised and effective Events Co-ordinator to help us deliver a programme of high profile events for our members and public audiences.

These events include our prestigious RIBA Stirling Prize, International Prize and Royal Gold Medal, as well as supporting the team delivering our RIBA Journal event programme. This role is manged by the Events Manger and works with Awards, Marketing and RIBA Journal teams in an energetic and collaborative department.  

You will provide effective and efficient administrative and operational support for the smooth running and successful outputs of our events which are both physical and digital. This exciting post means that you’ll be involved from the very start of the event process all the way through to the high profile and often televised events.

Working with the Events Manager, you will also be a key colleague for the rest of the organisation, offering advice and guidance on their events.

You will need excellent knowledge of Eventbrite, Excel and other Microsoft packages; the ability to think on your feet and adapt to changing plans.

This role offers a great opportunity to support the RIBA’s work in celebrating the great architects and architecture of today and inspiring the great architects of the future.
