STRATEGIC LAND - PLANNING MANAGER
My client is a prominent and forward-thinking Property Company, who is currently looking for a talented and ambitious Strategic Planning Manager to join their busy team in the North-East!
My client is an experiences Strategic Land Promotor and Master Developer company operating across the UK. Thy have employed a 'Green Policy' companywide and are firm advocated for reducing environmental impact!
They are seeking applications from commercially minded candidates who have previous experience in a Strategic Planning related role to join their friendly and busy team!
Candidate Requirements
- Must be an MRTPI Chartered Planner.
- 3+ years' experience post RTPI accredited.
- Private sector experience - Consultancy, Housebuilder or Strategic Land Promotor.
- Masters' degree or PGDip in Planning related field of study.
- Experience managing technical multi-disciplinary and legal teams desirable.
Duties of the role
- Promoting sites through emerging local plans, preparing, and submitting presentations including attendance at examinations in public.
- Managing major planning applications and appeals including attendance at public inquiries.
- Negotiation with local planning authorities and consultees.
- Stakeholder engagement and community consultation.
- Involvement in major residential, industrial, and mixed-use developments.
