Project Architect / Experienced Part 2
Architeco is a small practice specialising in sustainable design. Based in Dunoon, Argyll, we work throughout Scotland and England. We focus on providing energy efficient buildings, including zero carbon and PassivHaus standard.
Current projects include: a Passivhaus Low Energy development; a straw bale house; cafes; a youth centre; a multiple unit self-build development; numerous bespoke houses; our range of standard low energy houses; community masterplanning.
We've a vacancy for a Project Architect / experienced Part 2 and are looking for an exceptional member of staff who is skilled and self-motivated.
Assisting the practice principal, you will be responsible for your own projects in a job running role.
You will need to turn your hand to varied tasks as and when required in a professional, courteous and friendly manner.

We use Archicad BIM software for the majority of our projects and can provide the required training if this isn’t in your skill set yet.
Salary will be dependant on experience. After your first year, you will be included in our profit share, giving you direct financial feedback for your hard work.

ARB Registered Architect
Job running experience with contract administration.
Full Mac-based computer literacy and experience of CAD programs are essential.
BIM / 3d digital modelling skills would be advantageous.
Compensation & benefits
Base Salary from £27,500 - £35,000 dependent on experience.

Architeco’s office is located on the entire first floor of the Crown Buildings, overlooking the town’s main square and with uninterupted sea views.
