Architectural Assistants – Full Time (Edinburgh/Glasgow/Oxford

Oberlanders are a multi-award winning architectural practice with studios in Edinburgh, Oxford, Ardgay in Sutherland, Galashiels in the Scottish Borders and will shortly be opening a studio in Glasgow. We’re active across a wide portfolio of architectural design sectors with particular experience in large scale, complex science and research, education and health care projects. Our project locations span the length and breadth of the UK and Ireland and occasionally on sites in mainland Europe. We have a staff of over 70 working as an integrated unit across all four studio locations.

We are looking for ARB Registered Architects either with 5+ years post Part 3 job running experience or newly qualified architects to join our Edinburgh or Glasgow based teams.

We have vacancies for Architectural Technicians to join our Edinburgh, Glasgow or Oxford based teams. You will have a thorough and meticulous approach to your work with an enthusiasm and drive to support the delivery of the highest standards of architectural service. You will also be a team player and capable of working collaboratively as part of our integrated Technical Design and Project Delivery teams.

These roles will involve working on a broad range of project opportunities within the UK and potentially overseas. Experience in the science & technology sector is desirable.

We also have vacancies for graduate Part 2 Architectural Assistants to join our Edinburgh, Glasgow or Oxford based teams.

All positions will initially be on a 6 month temporary contract with a view to the position becoming permanent subject to project workload. The jobs will be based in the Edinburgh, Glasgow or Oxford studio but remote working will be considered provided the candidate lives in that area of the UK.  You will be expected (subject to COVID-19 lockdown travel restrictions) to travel to constructions sites and, on occasion, between all our studio locations.

Experience using REVIT software is preferable for all positions.

You will work as part of dynamic team in a supportive, collaborative environment. Salary will be negotiable based on experience.

Applications should be sent to employment@oberlanders.co.uk
