My client is a forward-thinking Local Authority set in a picturesque town, who are currently looking to recruit a Senior Development Management Officer! My clients dynamic Planning team is set in Cambridgeshire, and the are looking for said candidate to join them on a 3-month contract.

The purpose of this role is to provide appropriate specialist technical advice on all Development Management matters including the provision of appropriate pre-application advice and the effective and efficient processing of applications for planning permission and all other related consents and determinations.

My client is seeking applications from candidates with the following:

• Must have an RTPI accredited Planning degree or equivalent qualification.
• Previous public or private sector experience in Development Management.
• Knowledge of planning legislation and Government planning guidance.
• Ability to work flexibly from own initiative as well as part of a team.
