An exciting opportunity has presented itself for a talented Town Planner to join one of the world's leading Real Estates Companies! My clients dynamic and tenacious Planning team is looking to recruit a commercially minded and ambitious Town Planner to join their Birmingham office.
My client is a well-renowned company who build, buy, and invest in a variety of assets, including industrial, commercial, retail, and residential. They are dedicated to transforming the real estate industry through technology-based innovation.
The successful candidate will be part of their regional Planning and Development team and will be expected to deal with a variety of instructions and clients, as well as identify new business opportunities.
The role will consist of preparation of planning applications and appraisals for land, building and concepts, as well as undertaking research and analysis. You will contribute to the preparing/editing of Design & Access statements and other planning support documents and will support the senior members of the team in a multitude of Planning duties.
My client is seeking applications from candidates with the following:
- MRTPI or MRICS qualification or working towards it.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Demonstratable knowledge of the UK town planning and government systems.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- A tenacious can-do attitude!
