Part 1 or Architectural Assistant position

We are looking for a Part1 Architectural student or Architectural Assistant to join our practice. The role will include assisting in carrying out measured surveys, cad & 3d drawing work, design work, general office administration including report and spreadsheet processing, and communicating with clients, contractors & consultants by email and telephone. You will primarily work in a support role to one of the directors and will also have opportunity to attend & participate in meetings and site visits. Own transport is highly desirable due to our office location.

We are currently starting to work part-time in the office and part-time at home due to COVID precautions. Hours are therefore flexible to some degree but the role requires overlap with others in the office. Currently the office is open Wednesday to Friday. The role would suit either a Part1 Architectural student for a year out placement or someone with a design based background with skills in CAD, Word & Excel. Full time/Part time/Flexible term-time work to suit school hours is possible.
