At Stephen George + Partners, we employ talented architects and technical staff who want to bring their talent and ambition on a diverse portfolio of exciting projects. An AJ100 architectural practice with an award-winning creative and technical team, Stephen George + Partners is all about quality, reliability and integrity. We respond rapidly to client requirements, applying technical expertise and commercial realism to resolve complex issue effectively and produce well-designed, innovative and deliverable buildings. The key to our success is that we have built long-term relationships with clients in both the private and public sectors. We believe that good architecture is built on strong relationships. At Stephen George + Partners, we work with clients and listen to their needs to deliver best design and deliver better buildings.

We are currently looking for an Architect / Principal Architect, depending on your experience, but with a minimum 3 year post Part 3 qualification.

You will need to demonstrate a capability of delivering projects on site (preferably in the industrial sector, but this is not essential) as the role will be taking projects from inception to completion. Project work will involve you working both as part of a team and independently, so we are looking for someone who is flexible / adaptable to changing circumstances. A strong ability to detail is required, noting the implications of decisions made at this level on the overall design deliverability. Equally a good design eye is required to ensure any projects worked upon, continue to meet the original proposal or that the initial design is sound and deliverable. Many of the projects that will be worked on will be Design and Build, requiring a proactive mentality to work with many third parties to solve issues and challenges as the buildings go up.

Revit capability is desired, although not essential, but Autocad experience is necessary. We can train you in Revit, though a proactive drive to bring yourself up to speed on the software will be expected.

The successful individual will have good client facing skills, be able to build rapport with others easily and have an attitude of bringing third parties together to achieve successful outcomes. A flexible attitude is essential as well as that of an early adopter who can learn new procedures and software in an ever-changing world.
