Salary c £27,500 negotiable depending on experience, + benefits!

An exciting opportunity has presented itself for a dynamic and enthusiastic Graduate Town Planner to join a highly respected Town Planning Consultancy in central London.

My client advises development companies, financial institutions, trusts, retailers, and house builders on a wide range of development propositions and in securing planning permissions for their schemes. The have built their reputation on developing often complex and ingenious strategies to unlock the development potential of sites.

As a Graduate Planner, you will assist the team in the following:

• Managing a range of planning applications, appeals and pre-application enquiries.
• Assessing planning applications and monitoring outcomes.
• Securing consent for large and small scale developments.
• Tailoring advice to suit the client's objectives.
• Understanding the client's needs, aspirations and intentions.
• Persuade local and other decision makes of the merits of a proposal.
• Applying a forensic, research-based approach to all available evidence.
• Formulating strategies that challenge the standard approach.

The successful applicant will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• 4 months to 1 years' experience in a preferably private sector Planning role.
• Hold or be graduating from a post graduate degree in a Planning related field of study.
• Excellent organisation and time keeping skills.
• Have a passion for wanting to work in the private sector with a desire to succeed!
