Part I Architectural Assistant or Part II Architectural Assistant

Part I Architectural Assistant or Part II Architectural Assistant

We are looking for a Part I or II architectural assistant to join our enthusiastic & friendly team. The successful applicant will gain valuable experience working closely with the design team in the early project stages. They will support the design team in developing designs in both 2d and 3d as well as the preparation of client presentations and planning applications. The part II role will transition into spending more time working on the technical stages of projects to in order to gain the full breadth of knowledge required to obtain the RIBA Part 3.

Excellent design, 3d and graphic skills are required, together with an eye for detail and good written and verbal communication skills. This is a genuine opportunity for a driven individual to join our expanding practice.

Responsibilities include:

• Active role in developing designs in collaboration with the Creative Director • Preparing CAD drawings for all project stages
• Preparing and assisting with client presentations
• 3D Modelling & Rendering

Skills & Experience:

• Autocad & Sketch-up experience essential
• Rendering experience preferred
• Free-hand sketching an advantage
• Experience working in a UK architectural practice
• Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
• A driven individual that is able to work under pressure, in a fast-paced environment, to tight deadlines
