Sustainability Design Assistant

Planning Recruitment are currently working with an AJ100 Architectural practice who are looking to welcome a Sustainable Design Assistant to promote best practice in sustainable design. The practice have a market leading reputation in the industry for promoting sustainable design.

Working alongside the Sustainable Design Leads and Advisors, the main aims of your role is to aid in the development and implementation of sustainable design solutions across all of the practices projects. You will be assisting your colleagues in proposing and testing sustainable design solutions and attending regular design reviews.

Day to day responsibilities will include assisting in research, providing advice for material specification, providing BREEAM advice and Environmental and Energy model analysis.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate knowledge of sustainable design methodologies and experience using sustainable design software programmes. You will be a proficient user of Revit and Dynamo and have knowledge of IES, Safaira and/or Ladybug for Grasshopper. The ideal candidate will come from an Architectural background, although this is not essential.
