A successful and chartered client of ours is looking for an Architect on a permanent basis to join their close-knit team based in Sheffield. You will be joining an established team of experienced staff where you will get the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects across the Residential, Retail, Offices and Mixed-Use sectors.

It would be preferable to have post qualification experience, however, we may also consider Newly Qualified Architects with a considerable amount of industry experience. Vectorworks experience would also be beneficial.

Skills required for the role of Architect:

• Proven experience as an Architect working on a diverse range of projects.
• ARB registered or working toward if Newly Qualified.
• IT proficiency with strong working knowledge of Vectorworks would be beneficial.
• Sound Knowledge of the UK Building Regulations.
• Full UK driving licence and car.

Skill requirements to be an Architect:

• Take charge of projects and succeed working independently and as part of a small team.
• Be in charge of overseeing and running various projects.
• Be design focused and have strong technical skills.
• Communicate and liaise with all members of your design team.
• Attend site meetings.
• Delegate workloads.
