Due to an increase of stunning new projects, RIBA award-winning practice AR Design Studio is looking for a new member of team to help deliver projects on site. This candidate will have excellent experience and knowledge of the technical and construction stages of projects.

This candidate could be a Qualified Architect or Architectural Technician, Building Surveyor or Construction Project Manager.

Due to Brexit and the changes to the law, we do not currently have a sponsorship licence to employ foreign nationals outside of the UK and Ireland. If you are a foreign national already in the UK please indicate on your application your eligibility to work in the UK.

Candidates should only apply if they have the following skills & experience:

- Several years’ experience running projects on site

- Experience in project delivery

- Excellent knowledge of detailing and construction

- Experience dealing with contractors and subcontractors, as well as consultants

- Strong knowledge of contract administration

- Experience with Building Regulations

- Proficient English language skills are also a must and the ability to communicate well with clients and consultants is desirable.

Personal Qualities

The candidate should be friendly and efficient at work, whilst being able to work independently or as part of a team. Our studio is young and sociable, and requires new staff to be happy to engage with this side of the practice.

Computer skills required: AutoCAD, SketchUp, (a working knowledge of Revit - not essential)

Based in the beautiful city of Winchester, AR Design Studio is an energetic and highly motivated architectural practice working on a diverse range of projects. Principally the practice is renowned for its focus on high quality design of award winning one off houses. The practice prides itself on working with great clients and exciting sites to create innovative architecture.

Salary will be dependent on experience and in line with RIBA guidelines. Interviews to commence immediately.
