Architectural Technician/ Interior Architect

A friendly and bespoke Architectural practice have been awarded some great contracts to keep them busy for the next few years and they are excited to now grow the team further with the right individuals.

As a practice they work in AutoCAD and are looking for individuals to complement their existing team, this role will offer you a chance to work to your strengths whether that may be more design or technical work as the company work across planning stages to completion on all projects. Some projects are roll out schemes so any experience across retail , hospitality or commercial sectors would be preferred and it is highly desirable you are experienced in using AutoCAD and have at least 1 years experience working on live projects. Sketch-up and Photoshop are also highly desirable.

Key duties may include: (the below are not essential criteria)

- Producing planning application drawings

- Producing interior details specifications

- Assisting with design proposals, construction details, visualisations and schedules

- With the team assist with documentation for tender and planning

- Liaising with external consultants across the project stages

- Working on initial design with the team and creating hand sketch drawings to convey design ideas

You will also have the chance to work on interior schemes so this role could also be well suited for Interior Architects.

You will be an integral part of the team working on simultaneous projects at any one time helping to deliver great projects. This is an ideal opportunity to join a growing practice and be heavily involved in all aspects with long term career progression.
