Architectural Assistant (Admin) Part I

We are seeking an Architectural Assistant (Part 1 completed) to join our thriving award-winning practice. Whilst `based’ in our London studio, our agile working ethos offers the opportunity to collaborate with our other studios on projects throughout the UK.

Your work ethic and commitment to client relations will reflect this. The ideal candidate will oversee the entire construction project life cycle. You will manage personnel involved at different stages of the project and showcase strong design and/or technical abilities.

You will gain valuable experience via the following duties

Architectural duties

  • Assist the Architects & Project leaders with a large spectrum of activities including general administrative duties.
  • Coordinate details of projects including building specifications, dimensions, assisting with initial project research.
  • Record evidence of professional experience in accordance with the requirements of your professional body.
  • Obtain thorough knowledge of and compliance with Lawray procedures and standards
  • Manage time effectively ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Assist with bid preparations and tender management as required.

Front of house/Reception & Admin Duties

  • Meet and greet clients and visitors, provide a professional call handling service.
  • Handle all incoming and outgoing correspondence in accordance with QA guidelines.
  • Maintain a professional, clean and tidy environment
  • Provide the team with ad hoc administrative support as required.

QA, H&S, HR

  • Maintain QA records for region in accordance with regulations and best practice.
  • Co-ordinate and maintain H&S requirements for office including all periodic tests.
  • Co-ordinate induction programme regionally including CSCS and PPE following PM lead.


Revit, Indesign and Photoshop skills would be a definite advantage
