Excellent opportunity for a Part 2 Architectural Assistant to work within a RIBA Chartered practice.

My client currently has an exciting new opportunity for an enthusiastic and talented Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join their team based in Gloucester. You will be joining a Medium sized practice as part of the Commercial team where you will work on a variety of Health, Leisure, Schools and Gymnasium projects.

We are looking for a candidate who has exceptional design and drawing abilities and confidence in communicating visually and verbally. With this role experience in ArchiCAD would be highly desirable, however not essential. Training will be provided for the right candidate.

Skills required to be a Part 2 Architectural Assistant:

• Excellent design and drawing abilities which is shown throughout your portfolio
• You're a team player with a hard-working attitude
• Enthusiasm and motivation for the job role and a willingness to learn new skills
• Knowledge of the ArchiCAD drawing package would be desirable but not essential
• At least 2 years' experience

Whilst working as a Part 2 Architectural Assistant:

• Client, consultant and contractor liaison and communication
• Co-ordination with the internal design team
• Feasibility preparation
• Attend project meetings as required
• Production of planning, building regulations, tender and contract drawings and specifications
• Assessment and correction of detailed drawings
• Delivering project tasks to agreed deadlines
