Are you a Graduate Town Planner looking for an exciting new opportunity? Penguin Recruitment is pleased to announce they are supporting one of the most exciting and forward-thinking Urban Design & Development Companies in the South West, in their search for an eager and enthusiastic Graduate Planner to join their dynamic team.
My client is a well-renowned practice that have extensive knowledge and experience in project co-ordination, spatial master planning, negotiating project delivery and advising on land acquisitions. They work on projects ranging from small to large scale and give their graduate candidates the opportunity to gain hands-on experience out in the field!
The ideal candidate will support the team and assist senior members of staff in the following:
- Managing a range of planning applications, appeals and pre-application enquiries.
- Assessing planning applications and monitoring outcomes.
- Researching and designing planning policies to guide development.
- Undertaking regular community engagement and committee meetings.
- Communicating with all stakeholders involves in the planning process.
- Supporting senior team members as required.
The ideal applicant for this Graduate Planner position will hold a degree in planning or a relative field of study. Previous experience of 1+ years in a planning role ideal, however a positive, energetic, enthusiastic can-do attitude is essential!
