Salary: £31,000 - £35,000 depending on experience + £15,000 commission (On Target Earnings)

Location: Currently working remotely with return to London office in due course

Hours: 35 hours per week, fixed-term contract until 17 December 2021

The RIBA sponsorship team attract and deliver almost half a million pounds in revenue per annum for RIBA across a range of awards, conferences and exhibitions. We are looking for a, talented, dedicated and hard-working Sponsorship Manager. With support from an assistant, you will lead, manage and develop relationships with key contacts and a selection of sponsors.

Our philosophy is to understand our clients’ potential needs and build professional long-term relationships. This puts us in the best possible position to collaborate, deliver ROI and retain business.

This role includes key involvement in the RIBA Stirling Prize; Royal Gold Medal; RIBA Regional and National Awards; RIBA CPD Programme, Guerrilla Tactics, Future Leaders and Smart Practice conferences; and a number of public talks and exhibitions at RIBA’s London headquarters.

Our clients include leading property companies, technology providers and industry suppliers.

Ideal candidates will have sponsorship sales experience, a collaborative approach and will be capable of detailed planning.

Essential is a proven track record of identifying opportunities, building the pipeline, and the ability to execute a structured sales process and win big ticket sponsorship; while representing and maintaining the high standards of RIBA, the best-known brand in UK architecture.

In addition, you will need to be proficient in the use of relevant basic IT software packages, such as MS Office, and possess demonstrable administrative and workload prioritisation skills. A knowledge of the construction industry would be an asset, though not essential.
