An established, RIBA Chartered Architectural practice based in Gloucester, have an exciting new opportunity for an Architect to join their incredibly busy education team.

They have won a number of large educational projects based in the South Wales region, so would be able to consider candidates from this area or based in Gloucester. This is a mixed home working/ office based role.

In terms of projects, you can expect to get involved in an exciting variety from Early Years, Nursery, Primary, Secondary, Special Needs (SEN), Further and Higher Education as well as the Independent School sector.

You will be working closely alongside the senior design team, this really is a brilliant opportunity to gain a wealth of experience as part of an exceptional team of individuals. There is a clear cut progression path and an excellent benefits package on offer for the right candidate.

Essential skills/ qualifications for this Architect role:

* Experienced in working on both the design and delivery of education projects, enthusiastic in their approach
* Ideally you will be Chartered, but you must be ARB registered - with a number of years' experience
* Strong hand drawing skills, strong design and presentation skills
* Capability to collaborate, to innovate and to learn
* Be confident in ArchiCad (although training will be provided)
* Knowledge of UK planning policies and building regulations
* Excellent technical, communication and organisational skills, and proven track record of detailed design and delivery of projects on site
