A unique opportunity has become available in a growing multi-disciplinary practice that is winning a large amount of work and as a result is growing at a strong rate. As a result they are now looking to add a Senior Project Architect to their dynamic and friendly Architectural team.
You will be an integral member of the company assisting on simultaneous projects at any one time. The team work across a couple of sectors but predominantly projects within the commercial realm, working heavily with both private practice and local authority. This is an ideal opportunity for anyone looking to work an involved role, with full autonomy for this friendly company that is at a period of exciting growth and in turn can offer ample long term career opportunity.
Reporting into the Senior Design manager and working with the Technical Manager and wider architectural team key duties and areas of experience may include:
Assisting on projects from stages 3-6
Effectively manage your workload alongside the design process with the wider Architectural team to ensure a timely and on budget project delivery
Reviewing and comment on design information in conjunction with the Design Manager
Coordination and mentoring within the medium sized Architectural team
Ideally have some previous experience/familiarity with Revit/BIM
Experience in the programming of work
Attend site meetings when required
Project coordination
Assist with information issuing and ensuring the drawing packages are inline with building specifications
The ideal individual will have a high level of attention to detail, team mentoring/managing and strong communication skills.
