About the role

The role of Planning Officer will require the successful candidate to possess a passion for Town Planning, and a drive to bringing energy, enthusiasm, and commitment in everything they do. My client values people for their individuality, celebrates diversity, dynamism, and determination to get the job done. The duties and requirements of the successful candidate include:

  • deliver a high-quality planning service in a way that contributes to the achievement of the City Council's vision and objectives for a growing and sustainable city.
  • provide an efficient and effective customer focused professional planning service to support the sustainable growth and regeneration of the City.
  • Previous experience in a Planning Officer role desirable.
  • Assisting the team in processing all types of applications in accordance with the requirements of planning legislation, Government and Council planning policies and to meet the key objectives of the Council.
