In 2019 we were awarded East of England ‘Project of the Year’ from RICS, for the design and delivery of Chapel Green Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Norfolk.

With an increasing volume of Client commissions, we are currently looking to recruit a design focussed Associate Architect into our Norwich based team, to lead our architect teams from a design, managerial and technical perspective. Our reputation amongst our partners and the professional community is an essential part of our business, and it will be your responsibility to ensure the architecture team promote and maintain their high level of design quality, innovation and commercial viability.

On a daily basis, you will act as the Lead Designer, and provide technical and management support to the Architectural team, ensuring that projects are delivered to or above client expectation. It will require you to have a hands-on management style, contributing to drawing, specifications and architectural advice where required. It will be your responsibility to ensure a full ‘Architect’s Service’ is provided in line with the RIBA Plan of Work.

Our project portfolio consists of a range of new build and refurbishment / remodelling projects, primarily within the Public Sector, with a focus on Education. We have delivered a large number of projects to provide new Primary, Secondary and SEN school estate provision.  You will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of innovation and sustainable architecture.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Member of the Architects Registration Board
  • Professional Chartered Membership of the Royal British Institute of British Architects – RIBA
  • Experience delivering projects across private and public sector clients, importantly including Education
  • Extensive experience working in an architectural environment and ideally within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Proven experience leading and managing an Architectural design team
  • Proficient in the use of relevant software tools, including Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and REVIT
