Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 per annum
Location: Initially homeworking (with potential return to our London HQ in due course)
Hours: 35 hours per week, 6 months fixed-term contract from February 2021 to cover maternity leave
The RIBA technology department has an exciting opportunity for a talented, enthusiastic, and ‘can-do’ person to join us as Technology Administrator.
The post-holder will contribute to the smooth running of the team’s administration functions and help to plan, support, and enhance effectiveness of operations across the Technology team.
The successful candidate will possess administrative experience with excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to proactively support our Technology activities.
Key responsibilities include: -
- Administer the directorate budgets and management accounts in liaison with the Finance department.
- Allocate resources, raise purchase orders, and expense claims for payment.
- Assist the Technology teams in maintaining and updating records within filing systems/ registers / capacity planner and databases to ensure data is accurate and up to date.
- Procurement of ICT equipment / Subscriptions/ company mobiles
- Assist the teams with drafting documents and reports, coordinate meetings and monitor progress on actions
The Technology team is responsible for RIBA’s day-to-day IT functions, Architecture.com web content and its associated member services. This role offers a great opportunity to be part of a strong, supportive, and friendly team.
