International Marketing & Communication Executive

Salary: £27,648 - £32,000 depending on experience and base location

Location: Home-based (within UK) with travel to London office when required

Hours: 35 hours per week, 12 months fixed-term contract

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic person with relevant experience of creating and delivering effective marketing campaigns to join RIBA International as International Marketing & Communication Executive.  Reporting to the Director of International, the post-holder will be at the heart of marketing and communication coordination for the international team, liaising with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

As a cross-functional executive working across global and UK teams, this role will be key in steering international marketing and communication by ensuring our international needs are met locally whilst being closely aligned with our global efforts with particular focus on China and Gulf region.

A successful candidate must have a proven track record of working internationally with strong understanding and sensitivities of different cultures and jurisdictions.  This individual will also bring fresh ideas and an entrepreneurial spirit.

Experience of China and Gulf markets would be a distinct advantage, as would fluency in Mandarin. 

This role offers a great opportunity to be part of the strong, supportive and friendly International team, responsible for RIBA’s day-to-day activity in our four international regions outside the UK - the Americas, Europe, Middle East and Africa, Asia and Australasia. International growth is one of the Institute’s key priorities. You will be contributing directly to maintaining the future of RIBA by working closely with our international members, stakeholders and international colleagues based here in the UK and overseas.
