Are you an exceptional communicator with a passion for employee engagement? Can you advise senior leaders on how best to manage internal communications during a period of change? Do you thrive under pressure, and have success supporting others? If so, you’re just who we’re looking for.
The Royal Institute of British Architects has a talented workforce, with staff based around the UK and overseas. From leading campaigns that influence change, to awarding the world's most remarkable buildings, our work is incredibly varied. And so are the skills and jobs of our staff.
We are architects, leaders, communicators, tech professionals, business experts, archivists, marketing and membership specialists, lobbyists, teachers, and more. Collectively, we help architects and students to thrive in their practice and profession, while inspiring future generations and educating non-experts through primary school workshops, university networks, public events and exhibitions.

We’re looking for someone who has worked in a complex organisation, delivered impactful internal communications, developed channels and measured their effectiveness, and who thinks both strategically and tactically.
This role is crucial in managing a small team, with high expectations and a significant volume of work. It would suit someone who will approach the role with enthusiasm and creativity, excels under pressure and who understands how to maintain a happy and productive work environment.
The RIBA offers employees a range of staff benefits including 26.5 days of annual leave + half-day for Christmas shopping, paid closure between Christmas & New Year, season ticket loan and generous pension scheme. For more details on our benefits click here
