Experienced Project Architect
Due to our current portfolio of projects, we are seeking an experienced project architect with both design and technical ability, alongside a strong client focus and proven contract administration skills.
The position is suitable for an architect looking to take the next step in their career having already successfully designed and delivered high quality architectural projects to successful completion.
The successful candidate will contribute to the future success and development of the practice, joining a team of twenty architects and technologists, based in our Belfast studio (COVID restrictions permitting). The practice seeks the development and career progression of all staff through regular CPD, training and performance review.
Hall Black Douglas are currently involved in delivering innovative projects in a wide range of sectors in Ireland, N Ireland and Scotland : Civic; Community; Healthcare; Conservation; Social Housing; Private Residential; Education and Leisure.
Essential Experience
Contract Administration of Completed Projects at Construction Stage (UK/Ireland)
Client, Consultant and Contractor interface and co–ordination
Production of detailed Construction Drawing Packages using BIM and NBS Specification
Architectural Design and Presentation
Communication Skills: Verbal and Written
Desirable Criteria
Delivery of projects using BIM Level 2
Proven competency in the delivery of high quality architectural projects
Experience of UK/Ireland Building Regulations
Experience of UK/Ireland Contracts (NEC/Public Works)
Bid Writing Experience
UK/EU Driving License
