A well-established architectural practice based in Winchester is currently looking to add an Urban Designer to its successful planning team. You would be joining a practice who is passionate about architecture and offers excellent long term progression.

Located close to Winchester city centre, the practice has established a name for itself as one of the best in the conservation and high-end residential sector.
The office currently consists of 75 staff, who work from their beautifully refurbished and uniquely designed premises. Due to a number of confirmed projects they are looking to add an Urban Designer to the team.

Role & Responsibilities

- Working as part of the dedicated urban design team
- Produce urban design concepts supported by well-considered design rationales
- Considering technical constraints
- Producing detailed masterplan drawings
- Speaking to clients and other planning professionals.

Required Skills & Experience

- Qualified Architect with urban design project experience
- Possess a minimum of 1 years post qualification experience
- A background of working on all residential project types, particularly large-scale developments would be preferable
- Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and British Standards.
