Exciting opportunity for an Experienced Architectural Technician / Technologist to join a thriving team!

About the company and role:

My client is based in central Gloucester and currently employs around 50 staff members. They have extensive experience working on Housing, Education, Commercial and Healthcare projects and are well known for their innovative approach and design excellence! Sustainable and Energy efficient Architecture is their focus when designing and delivering schemes and believe this is the heart of their business!

The desired candidate will already several years' experience in practice and have had exposure to a wide variety of projects including Health & Leisure schemes. You should be an experienced job runner and be able to hit the ground running in your role with little to no supervision.

Skills required to be an Architectural Technician / Technologist:

• You must hold a degree in an Architectural Technology subject or an equivalent HND/ HNC.
• Relevant and recent experience on Education and Commercial projects would be desirable.
• Excellent understanding of the UK building regulations and planning policies.
• Design flare and strong technical- construction and detailing skills.
• Good initiative to complete work to a high standard both independently and as a team.
• Time management skills.
• CAD and BIM skills are preferable.
