Experienced Part III Architect or Architectural Technician with 3+ year’s post qualification experience

Have a real impact on how an ambitious and dynamic design company operates.  We are looking for a talented Part III Architect or Architectural Technician with at least 3+ years post qualification experience, to help create fantastic homes in London and the Home Counties.

Working at Aura Architecture, you’d have the opportunity to work in a variety of residential projects, providing quality design solutions for our private homeowner clients, and adding value to small scale property developments.

About You

The chosen individual must be design focused and be able to take projects from initial consultation through to project management on site.  The main focus of the role will be to take our projects from concept design through to a detailed tender package.

Key Skills Requirement:

  1. RIBA Part 3 qualified or CIAT qualified with three-plus years' PQE
  2. Excellent residential experience is a must
  3. Experience of working with private homeowner clients and developments up to 30 units
  4. Demonstrable experience of taking projects from feasibility through planning and to delivery
  5. Strong technical, graphic and 3D modelling skills, full proficiency in AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, Photoshop and SketchUp skills are essential
  6. Experience of running design and technical reviews
  7. Excellent understanding of current UK planning and building regulations
  8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  9. Ability to plan and strong organisational skills

You will need to demonstrate the following:

  • Proactive and driven individual
  • Demonstrable strong technical design ability
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects
  • The ability to communicate effectively with Clients, Consultants, Trades etc
