Architect 

BPG are seeking an enthusiastic Architect to join our busy team of Architects and Surveyors in our central Dorking office. 

We are looking for an Architect with up to three years’ experience post registration (ARB).  Good knowledge of projects from start to end and very good REVIT capabilities is a must.

Our offices are located in the historic Old Kings Head Court which dates from the 16th Century and is located in the heart of Dorking town centre.

Our characterful offices provide a conducive working environment, with Dorking’s town centre shops being literally on the doorstep and three railway stations all within a 15 minute walk.

We have a diverse workload of new build and refurbishment projects in a variety of sectors with construction values of £1-£20million.

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

The right candidate must have UK project experience seen through from initial client contact to completion; with experience in all work stages. Motivated and passionate with good understanding of construction detailing and construction methods; strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent 3D digital modelling skills are required and experience of Autodesk suite such as REVIT is essential.

You will be a member of the architects’ team working with the architects and surveyors within the practice. Responsibilities include preparing feasibility reports, design & access statements, planning submissions, building regulations submissions, tender packages, liaising with clients, planning officers, building control inspectors and contractors, assisting on other design, administrative and technical tasks. We need to see the potential to work both unsupervised and as part of a team.

You will be expected to work at all stages of the design and construction process including contract administration, so if you are an enthusiastic and professional individual committed to sustainable design then you should join our team to work on our expanding portfolio of projects.
