Senior Architectural Technician / Technologist

FANTASTIC OPPORTUNITY FOR A SENIOR ARCHITECTURAL TECHNICIAN/ TECHNOLOGIST

THE ROLE:  Working for a thriving and growing company of over 135 employees, in the beautiful County of Herefordshire.  Due to our ongoing success, we are in search of an experienced Architectural Technician/ Technologist with great technical ability, excellent Building Regulations knowledge, to be detail-led, with self-drive and initiative and looking to develop our technical offering to a construction level.  You will be working on our Clients dream homes, bespoke residential new-build projects of approx. 150-500sqm.  The houses are built on-site using our German-engineered CNC-machinery, cutting stunning oak frames, and erected on site by our carpenters, creating instant character and timeless Architecture, all using our highly energy efficient and sustainable encapsulation systems that reach Passivhaus standards.

TO SUCCEED:  Qualified with a recognised Architectural qualification/ CIAT or other recognised.  We want a self-motivated individual with a fantastic eye for detail, a practical approach, exemplary Building Regulations drawing ability, and good technical detailing knowledge.  Site supervision and experience on private residential houses is beneficial.  Good communication to engage with Clients, Consultants and Building Control Authorities confidently is required.  You should be comfortable working individually or as part of a wider team. Conversant in AutoCAD and NBS Specification knowledge would be an advantage.
