Project Architect

SUSD.London is a leading Development and Design consultancy, designing and developing multi-use schemes. Acting as architect and developer, SUSD has delivered creative and inspirational award-winning hospitality and residential projects in London and the UK.

SUSD.London is based in Notting Hill, London, we are looking for a fully qualified architect with a minimum of 7 years’ experience managing construction projects on-site with strong project and budget management skills. 

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in dealing with the execution of the detail design during construction, administration of contracts, building regulation compliance, critical appraisal of sub-contract proposals, project programming and on-site delivery and quality control. Their role is to ensure the integrity of the design and built quality is maintained and ensuring full compliance with regulations. Additionally, the candidate will have an attention to detail and a strong visual awareness, with experience of working from design development through to managing construction contracts and demonstrable refurbishment experience. A proven track record delivering high quality large, complex projects is expected with good project management skills, leading on design excellence.

Knowledge of UK Building Regulations, construction technology, UK planning policies and procurement methods, as well as good communication (excellent spoken and written English) and organisational skills, are essential. Full working experience of Vectorworks is preferred but not essential.
