Senior Project Lead Architect (Delivery)

Seeking a Project Lead Architect that has extensive experience delivering high-end multi-unit residential projects within the UK, to join the delivery team of an AJ100 practice in South West London

This RIBA Chartered architectural firm specialise predominantly in large-scale, high end residential design. However, their work is split into 4 main sectors; Commercial, Residential, Hotels and Master planning, where work is spread across the East of England and London. This employee owned practice have ambition, encourage personal development and are passionate about high-quality design.

Now 75 staff strong, my client seek to appoint a suitably qualified Architect as a Project Leader, for a number of high- end, multi-unit residential projects currently being managed within the delivery team.

Role & Responsibilities

- Manage a number of multi-unit/high-end residential projects through delivery stages, ensuring these are delivered on time and to a high standard

- Ensure procedures are followed including Quality Assurance Protocol

- Lead and motive a small team and drive projects forward

- Coordinate design with other Consultants in the role of Lead Designer

- Liaise and meet with clients and external Contractors on a regular basis

- Visit site

- Report to the Directors of delivery.

Required Skills & Experience

- A minimum of 9 years post RIBA Part III experience within professional practice

- An excellent designer within the high-end residential and multi-unit residential sector

- Proven practical experience in delivering multi-unit residential projects within the UK

- Confidence taking on a client facing role, with proven previous experience to demonstrate your ability

- A thorough technical understanding

- Able to motivate a team of Assistants and Architects to ensure deadlines are met and work is produced to a high standard

- Experience of typical issue that may arise on complex residential projects at Delivery stage.
