Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 dependent on experience 
Location: London
Hours: 35 hours per week, 12-month fixed term contract

Since our foundation in 1834, The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) has championed better buildings, communities and the environment through architecture and its members.

We are currently recruiting for a CPD Assessment Manager to assess technical CPD material for the RIBA CPD Providers Network as part of the Practice team.

More than 42,000 delegates received free RIBA-assessed Providers Network CPD in more than 5,300 in-practice events last year, choosing from more than 1,400 pieces of material. This new role will be to assess CPD material from the subscribing construction product manufacturers.

You will have a postgraduate or professional qualification in a relevant built environment discipline (for example, architect, architectural technologist or building services engineer) and considerable technical practical experience of working in a construction industry organisation or regulatory environment. You will have demonstrable understanding of issues pertinent to health, life and fire safety and the CDM Regulations; sustainable design and construction; inclusive environments; safe UK specification practice; and UK construction legislation and regulations.

You will also have good IT skills, experience of working with Microsoft applications, and digital information and collaboration tools.  You will also have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to produce clear, understandable, high quality reports for customers
