Head of Planning

Resi Design is seeking an experienced Part 3 architect or an experienced planning consultant to lead its Planning team in London

Who are we looking for?

We have a fun, dynamic team located in Brixton. We’re currently around 75 people strong but we’re growing quickly and on the hunt for a residential architect to help in our Planning team.

The role

• Supporting the design team on the planning aspects of architectural drawings and application submissions
• Communicating with clients on submission and re submission strategy
• Working with Planning officers to implement feedback and to align on the best way forward with specific applications
• Training and coaching broader Resi teams on Planning rules and guidelines

We want Resi to become the leading UK expert in home extensions and renovations. This is achieved with talented people in every role.

We are looking for the following attributes:

• A fast learner with a great attitude!
• Excellent CAD skills - Microstation preferable, experience with Revit, AutoCad and Vectorworks also considered
• Excellent understanding of UK planning policy, with particular experience of Residential applications within London and the South East of England
• A solid understanding of design
• Three to five years within the residential sector is vital. If you wish to include examples of your work, please include your residential work.
