Salary: £27,000 - £30,720 per annum
Location: 76 Portland Place, London W1B 1AD
Hours: 35 hours per week, Fixed Term Contract ending June 2020

We are looking for an enthusiastic, confident, creative Marketing Executive to join the RIBA Marketing Team. You will be responsible for marketing some of our key activities, managing several social media channels, creating and delivering digital marketing campaigns, managing partnerships with other organisations and working with our digital team on website content.  You will also work with other teams within RIBA to advise and help them on their marketing needs.

Your primary focus will be to communicate our exhibitions, public programmes, learning and thought leadership campaigns and activities to a wide range of audiences, in particular the general public. As part of the project teams for these activities you will create the communications plans, undertake audience research, develop website content, plan and deliver digital and off-line marketing activity, optimise campaign performance using google analytics, evaluate success, and produce weekly and monthly reports.

Managing the RIBA brand is part of the Marketing Team’s remit, and this role will support the Brand and Marketing Manager in upholding the RIBA's brand across all material, advising internal and external audiences on appropriate usage.

You will need:

  • a can-do attitude, bags of confidence and the ability to use your own initiative and take the lead with ideas and actions
  • experience in creating and managing relationships with other cultural organisations and with internal teams
  • experience of delivering marketing plans across multiple channels and evaluating its success
  • excellent knowledge and experience on digital channels, especially Google Analytics, Adestra (or similar email platform) and social media channels

experience of producing print material, and excellent writing, editing and research skills.
