Regional Director - West Midlands

Salary: From £40,000 depending on experience 
Location: Birmingham 
Hours: 35 hours per week, permanent  

We have an exciting opportunity for the right person to lead our work in the West Midlands.  This is a key role within the RIBA and architectural profession in the West Midlands and the UK.  It involves working with a range of internal and external stakeholders to oversee the creation and delivery of activities that add value to RIBA membership and ensure the RIBA is essential for architects to be part of. 

The right person will have a passion for architecture and will champion the role RIBA members play in promoting excellence in architecture.  You will have strong management experience, with a proven track record of leading teams to deliver quality services.  Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is an ability to form effective collaborative relationships with strategic partners and decision makers.  The ability to work independently and manage a significant and varied workload with competing demands is essential.  

Strong financial and people management skills will be backed up by an excellent grasp of business needs and priorities to deliver on-target budgets and successful outcomes. 

Reporting to RIBA HQ you will be based in Birmingham but will be expected to travel around West Midlands and occasionally the rest of the UK and overseas.
